As things continue to gather steam and ramp up we've made a couple of new features available on the McRae Gathering Website
PayPal Donations There are those who cannot make this event, but may still want to donate to the McRae Charities. For that reason we've added a PayPal Donate link to the menus on the left of the website. You can donate in your local currency and it will be converted to Pounds Sterling. Forums We've had a lot of contact with questions, people wanting to hook up with others etc for this event. To make this easier we've added Forums to the site. They're pretty basic, but do the job and are free so don't cost anything in terms of reducing the charity funding. They're not designed to detract from any other Club Forums, but will provide a central location for discussion of the event and make it easier for people to post questions and for us to supply answers (hopefully!) It will also help many of the individuals who aren't members of any Club, but want to take part and who have contacted us wanting to meet up with others en route and also for the various Clubs coming from all directions to arrange meeting with other Clubs. The Forums can be accessed via the link on the main menu to the left. Other NewsSticker Sales We're VERY close to releasing the official sticker sales. All I'm waiting for is a photo of one on a car and the shop is good to go. That should happen within a matter of days  Marshalls We have a number of Marshalls already organised for the event at Prodrive, but could be done with a few more. You will be expected to turn up at Prodrive at 9am on Sunday (an hour before everyone else) and help with various things such as traffic marshalling, checking cars bear the official stickers, parking arrangements etc. If you fancy volunteering and helping out then please drop Grant a line by email to enquiries AT mcrae-gathering.co.uk |
