There has been a change to the Participants Guide with relation to food at Lanark. The guide had offered an alternative to the on-site catering offered at Lanark Market. We would ask that all participants use the catering at the Market and do not venture into Lanark itself except to refuel if necessary. It is going to be busy and we don't want cars coming and going and adding to any possible congestion. This will also be better for participants as you'll be in, parked up and ready to go and can enjoy a leisurely breakfast indoors.

The Participants Guide has been updated to reflect this.

The three musketeers, three not-so-wise monkeys, three stooges, whatever you want to call us, held what will be pretty much our final "official" meeting before the event yesterday. Two things arose that we should make you aware of:

Despite us really hoping that Gathering stickers would NOT appear on EBay, a couple have been seen. One seller kindly agreed to withdraw theirs. We've not been able to get hold of the other seller yet. 

PLEASE DO NOT SELL STICKERS ON EBAY. We have no control over who buys them there, i.e. could be a driver of any marque who will then turn up expecting admittance , nor do we get the required car and driver details. We are also totally against anyone selling stickers for any kind of profit for this charity event.

If you have stickers you no longer require, contact us via the Gathering website and we will instruct you on how to return them. We will issue a refund for them on receipt. We could be done with a few more anyway.

We would also strongly advise people not to buy alleged Gathering Stickers on EBay. Whilst they may be genuine, this is a popular event and there is no guarantee they are. Even if they are genuine we require car and driver details for this event and we WILL be carrying out checks.

You can still order shirts (not that they'll let you take part in the event, but they're nice shirts anyway!) from the online shop and will be able to until the end of August. After that, they're gone too - never to be repeated. We won't now guarantee delivery of shirts in time for the event.
